FAQs About EverNine Diagnostic Services
What forms of ID do I need to bring?
• Drug / alcohol tests & fingerprinting: Valid, unexpired photo ID (DL, passport, military ID).
• Notarial acts: ID must match the name on the document and meet NC notary standards.
• DNA testing: All tested parties will present government photo ID; minors need a birth certificate plus guardian ID.
How can I schedule mobile services with Evernine Diagnostics?
To schedule services with Evernine Diagnostics, contact us at our Concord office or visit our website to fill out a service request form.
How much does a standard notarization cost?
North Carolina caps traditional notarial acts at $10 per notarized principal signature. That means if two signers each sign once on the same document, the maximum notarization fee is $20 if the two signers need to sign twice, the maximum notarization is $40. This does not include travel fee.
Do you charge a travel fee for mobile appointments?
Yes—if you request that we travel to your location, we can invoice a mutually agreed flat amount. State law requires that the signer agree to the travel charge in writing before the trip begins.
Can I refuse the travel fee and still get my document notarized?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to visit our Concord office during business hours and pay only the statutory notary fee. The travel fee is purely optional and is never a prerequisite for the notarial act.
What types of documents do you handle?
• Powers of Attorney & Advance Directives
• Real-estate deeds, loan packages, HELOCs
• Adoption, school, and immigration forms
• Affidavits, DMV & title transfers, small-claims forms
What areas do you serve for mobile visits?
Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, Rowan, and Stanly counties. For travel beyond 30 miles of Concord, please contact us for a custom quote (704) 706 9021
How fast will I get results?
• DOT/Non-DOT tests: Negative results → 24 hrs; positives may take 48–72 hrs for confirmation.
• Background checks: 24–48 hrs average.
• Fingerprint cards: You leave with two completed FD-258 cards; mailing to the FBI is up to you (ask about our white-glove service)
• DNA tests: 2–3 business days after the lab receives all samples.
How soon can I get an appointment?
Same-day slots are often available. Use the “Book a Mobile Notary” button or call us; we’ll confirm within 30 minutes during business hours.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Limited walk-in capacity is available Tue–Thu, 10 am – 2 pm. To guarantee service (or to request mobile collection), please schedule ahead.
Are my results & personal data secure?
Yes. Test data is encrypted in transit and at rest, background-check portals are FCRA-compliant, and DNA samples are processed by an AABB-accredited lab. Notary journals are stored in locked cabinets or encrypted e-journals as NC law requires.
Are your fingerprint cards accepted by the FBI?
Yes. We roll prints on the official blue FBI FD-258 card, following the layout and quality specs published by the Bureau
What’s the difference between DOT and Non-DOT drug testing?
DOT testing follows 49 CFR Part 40 procedures for safety-sensitive transportation workers; it must be kept completely separate from Non-DOT testing. Non-DOT panels serve private employers, schools, and individuals and can be customized.
